Imaginary Train: Synopsis: I had once sat on the way to Kitchen, which had some steps and I imagined myself to be in a train. My imagination was restricted to just the coach and not the wheels. This was before I actually travelled in a train. When I compared the actual trip by train I found the imagination lukewarm.

Far away from my past
Saw an illusion train so fast,
On a vacated railroad rocked.
A mobile train of thought,
At the station cleared stops
With Book stalls and Food stalls.
Amalgamate sense stir
As phantom train turns again
Into leading steps - from
Kitchen wall to sun-lit hall.
Years later when in
An authentic train
Did I hear a refrain
'Destination far off'
As windowed scenes rupture
Into splinters of three
Where I see the scene
Sparkle of amber burning
In charcoal blotch sky,
On reflection, purge me instead
To a fine cryptic look,
A Coal engine trip.

A tour by vision
Is fancy free
But trip on the train
Is billed for a fee.
Barren station are crowded field
With people of varied personality.
Sporting different attitudes
Towards journey seen
From apprehension to zeal.
The locomotive spot
An omelette shop.
A forgetful Vegetarian
Fascinated stare.
Parallel food on
Counter hands flare.
Another rock
A jostling shock.
Thought world train
Is but small
When a real one seen
Found hours frivolous spent
Travelling in imaginary train.
